The settings of the Hawke rifle scope can be very finely adjusted thanks to the 1/10 MRAD adjustment. The elevation turret also has an opening or ‘window’ so that you can see exactly how the height is set (see second image). It features the ½ mildot reticle which is razor-sharp in the wide image plane. The reticle is of course etched, which is what one would expect from a rifle scope in this price range. The reticle can be illuminated in red in 6 different strengths. What is striking is the ease with which one immediately has a good image, one does not have to make much effort to maneuver behind the rifle scope. Thanks to the 18-layer multi-coating, the Hawke sidewinder offers very good light transmission. The parallax is adjustable from 9 meters to infinity. That makes this rifle scope suitable for both short and long distances. This scope comes with a zoom lever, which makes it very easy to change the magnification while looking through the scope. The sunshade and parallax wheel are also included.
